In our commitment to giving back to the baseball community, Guardian Baseball initiated a week-long mission to the Dominican Republic. Led by former Toronto Blue Jays Prospect and new head of Dominican Operations, Peniel Brito, along with Co-Founder Matt Kubancik and his son Roman, our journey aimed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young players.
Throughout the trip, we visited over 15 different academies and youth baseball programs, generously donating over 6,000 units of gear to kids in need. Many of these aspiring athletes lacked proper safety equipment and gear, which hindered their success on the field. Our donations aimed to change that.
The Guardian Baseball Team toured over 7 different MLB Dominican complexes, including those of the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees. This allowed us to gain valuable insights into the needs of the local baseball community and further our partnerships with these organizations.
We also visited various academies that Guardian partners with, providing free jerseys and equipment to boys in need. These efforts demonstrate our commitment to supporting young athletes and ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
